Condolences left by others

Mike Tansey

I will always cherish my memories of Wayne as a good friend and great co-worker. But, more than that, as a person who enjoyed life to the fullest and brought his joy and that wonderful smile to every activity. My heart goes out to you for your loss.

Wayne was the first friend I had when we moved to Elliot Lake in 1967. Our families went to First Baptist Church together. We shared a love of skiing and hiking in the abundant wilderness around the town. I will miss the travel updates as he and Cecile traveled around the world for his work. Good-bye old friend

My condolences to Wayne's family.
I have many memories of skiing Mount Dufour with Wayne and enjoying some beverages in the lounge there.

Laura Piche

I share my personal sympathies and condolence to all family friends of Wayne's upon learning of his passing. I had the pleasure of working with and learning from him during our start-up in Greece and South America. His wit, humour, articulation and persona left a valued impression. Know that your great loss is shared by many and I hope sharing the load brings you peace and comfort. Most sincerely, Laura Piche

Sad news to hear. Wayne was a good friend, class mate, fellow Air Cadet (705 Squadron) and great neighbor. Our family will remember all the fun times. All the best to the family.

Murry... Our Families deepest sympathies to you and Wayne's family, though our paths have not crosses for a long time, still to this day I have fond memories of Elliot Lake with you, Wayne and your mom and dad. As we get older some days get harder, but let them be better. Sorry for your loss

It is with great sorrow and shock that Heather and I learned of Wayne's passing via Facebook. What memories this brings back! As next door neighbours of John and Nellie Mae's on Stollery Place we got to know and love their boys and their families. Our hearts go out to Murray and family at this time of your loss.

With much love, Peter and Heather Shilton
