Condolences left by others

Shirley Dumay

It is spring here in BC. The sun is shining but there is a chill in the breeze. The seasons keep moving forward; there is no stopping them.
I loved my aunt Lee. Her happy nature and genuine way of being made me feel really comfortable.
At age 20yr I visited Elliot Lake to spend time with both my Macleod family relatives. Aunt Lee stands out in that memory as a very loving and caring human being. She fed her children and brought over a young fellow my age for company and fed me her oh so good spaghetti.
She walked me back to my uncle Norman's home where I was staying and asked a zillion questions along the way showing sincere interest in me. At 20 yr old I did not think myself special, or interesting, but she certainly had a way of making me feel I was just that.
My aunt Lee was the best of the best. My hugs go out to all who knew her and cherished her.
Like spring is here now, summer is around the corner. It will be warmer then and the air will be perfumed with flowers and more memories.
I will always, always remember my very special aunt Lee Macleod.
Sending lots of love that you may share with each other to stay strong.
